Taste of the Mountains 2026 Passport

For more than twenty years, LC Family Connection has worked to strengthen our community by ensuring that children and families have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. From emergency assistance and meeting basic needs to life skills education, mentoring, and community-wide events, our work is only possible because of the generosity of partners like you.

This year, our need is especially urgent. With little notice, we experienced a 40% reduction in a critical federal grant that supports our Student Outreach Center. This unexpected loss has created a significant funding gap at a time when more families than ever are turning to us for help.

As we prepare for our annual Taste of the Mountains fundraiser, we invite you to support LC Family Connection by donating an item or experience for our fundraising auction. Auction contributions—such as gift certificates, merchandise, services, or unique experiences—play a vital role in helping us raise the funds necessary to continue serving local children and families. Your donated item will receive recognition throughout the event and promotional exposure to our supporters and attendees. To ensure inclusion in event promotions and auction materials, we kindly ask that all auction donations be received by early April.

In addition to auction donations, we also offer sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who wish to make an even greater impact. Sponsorships provide valuable marketing visibility and help support both Taste of the Mountains and our Dahlonega Turkey Trot 5K, extending your support across two signature community events.
